About Back of the Net – The AFC Bournemouth Podcast

Back of the Net is AFC Bournemouth’s only fan podcast where Cherries fans can listen to match analysis, features, interviews and behind the scenes information each and every Monday morning.

We’ll bring you fans vox-pops from the latest Cherries game, as well as providing our own take on proceedings in our Premier League, FA Cup and EFL Cup campaigns.

As well as featuring the first team, we’ll go behind the scenes at the Vitality Stadium, as well as featuring other teams including the Women’s team, the Development Squad, and the Under 21’s.

If you want to get involved, please tweet @afcbpodcast, visit our website afcbpodcast.com, or give us a call on 01202 901048. We are looking for volunteers, so please get in touch as we’d love to hear from you!

Meet the hosts

Sam Davis

Sam Davis

Born and raised in Bournemouth, Sam has been supporting the Cherries since the early 90's, with his earliest memory at Dean Court being watching the likes of Scott Mean and Adrian Pennock gracing the hallowed turf in that hideous "pizza kit".
Tom Jordan

Tom Jordan

Tom is an AFC Bournemouth fanatic and is also passionate about all things Mental Health. Straight talking and forthright views are his forté - and with his cup always half full, he's always getting behind the boys come rain or shine from his seat in the North Stand.
Jeff Hayward

Jeff Hayward

As a Cherry, Jeff has been there through the highs and lows, witnessing Harry Redknapp marauding down the wing, seeing the famous FA Cup win over Manchester United, as well as overseeing numerous highs and lows!
Mr Tigz

Mr Tigz

The engine of Back of the Net, Tigz takes in games from the different perspective of the South Stand. He has had the fortune of witnessing some incredibly glorious seasons for the Cherries, as well as being there for the less successful spells!
