About GAVIN HAMILTON’S EUROS ROAD TRIP

Ahead of this summer’s Euro Championship, I wanted to take a virtual tour around Europe to get the inside scoop on all 24 teams, their star players, tactics and tournament hopes before we get underway in June.

To cut through the hype and get the sharpest views, you need to speak to the smartest people. So I’ve been talking to the leading English-speaking journalist in each of the 24 Euro countries. They are the reporters and editors who know the players and coaches best, having followed them closely through good times and bad. I know them through my work with the European Sports Media group, as fellow voters in UEFA’s Best Player award, and as friends and colleagues covering major tournaments together over the past 25 years.

They know their stuff, and now they can share their know-how with you.
