About The Ground Jewels

The Ground Jewels celebrates the sports grounds that hold a special place in people’s hearts.

Each week host and sports author James Dixon (known for ‘The Fix’ and ‘World in Union’) is joined by a different guest to explore their favourite ground and what it means to them.

Our guests share their personal stories, remember nostalgic moments and discuss the sense of place they feel when they step through those hallowed turnstiles.
