About A Pod of Two Halves

A Pod of Two Halves is a show featuring 3 extremely passionate chaps in their mid-thirties talking all good things football-related. You’ve got Thomas Woods, our resident Chelsea fan who is the eternal optimist, known for his unapologetic opinions of the beautiful game. Lee Collard, our producer and long-suffering Everton fan, known for his ‘differing’ opinions with Mr. Woods sprinkled with a healthy dose of sarcasm. And finally Michael Carden-Edwards, our Man Utd fan and audio-man, often prone to a Man Utd-based meltdown.

Meet the hosts

Thomas Woods

Thomas Woods

A Brazen Chelsea fan who is never lacking in conviction when it comes to his unapologetic opinions of the beautiful game. Tom eats, sleeps, breathes sports and draws on his encyclopaedic knowledge of football to offer *occasionally* accurate but always wild predictions. Always liable to go on an extended monologue, Tom is never far from drawing on his love of US Sports to forge unique analysis. An eternal optimist, Tom offers the perfect ying to Producer Collard's pessimistic yang.
Lee Collard

Lee Collard

Lee is a long-suffering Everton fan, clinging to the memory of the 95 FA cup final. The show's producer can often be heard wondering where the time is going after sitting through another Tom / Mikey speech...
Michael Carden-Edwards

Michael Carden-Edwards

Michael is our Spanish football correspondent based in Madrid, you'll likely not hear him speak about it much though, as he can't speak Spanish! He still idolises Eric Cantona and is prone to the odd meltdown. Oh and he's the guy that thought that the Tiki-Taka era of Barcelona dominance was "dull as dishwater.".. As well as providing long overly complicated, rambling monologues that don't often go anywhere he fancies himself as the pods audio engineer, and stresses over the audio quality on a daily basis.
